Resorts
& Campsites:
1 resort is located on the northwest corner of the lake. A BCFS
campsite with boat launch is located at the northeast corner.
Fishing
Report: A very good fly fishing lake with rainbows in
the 3 lb. range and some going much larger. Along with chironomids
fly fishers should look forward to a good spring may fly hatch.

Viewscape:
Situated in forested hilly terrain on the Thompson Plateau. A 3
meter band of deciduous trees and shrubs surround the lake. Behind
this stands a coniferous forest of lodgepole pine, englemann spruce
and balsam fir. A very beautiful looking lake that holds 4 small
islands.
Shoreline:
From the shoreline the lake drops off quickly to a depth of 28 m.
(91.8 ft.) . The lake substrate is made up of large boulders and
organics. Patches of sedge are found all along the lakeshore.

Lakes - Sedge Lake, a small lake of 7 ha. (18 ac.)
, is located 3 kms. (1.9 miles) east of Janice. Belly boats are
easily hiked into the lake via hiking trail from Janice. Sedge
produces rainbows in the 2 lb. range.
