Fishing Report: Quality fishing for rainbows up to 4 lbs. and larger makes TaWeel a definite stopover. This lake is reported to produce well throughout the summer months, and is used by many, as a base camp from which to explore the many excellent smaller fishing lakes located nearby. TaWeel is a large lake, with shoal areas, islands and abundant aquatic insect life. Trolling lures, flatfish, and spinning gear is still popular however fly fishermen do very well during the late June, early July Caddisfly hatch. Leech patterns are also very effective. For a wonderful vacation, TaWeel Lake with its two resorts and fine fishing is well recommended.
Be sure to visit Fishbc.com for angling information!

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
