Location: Access to the lake is a short hike from a picnic area off of Highway 28, approximately 30 km (18.6 miles) southwest of Campbell River.

Mean Depth 3.5 m. (11.48 ft) Max. Depth 9 m. (29.52 ft.)
Game Fish Cutthroat Fish Stocked Cutthroat
Angler Usage Moderate Elevation 283 m. (928.24 ft.)
Ice Over Varies with climate condition T.D.S. 26 mg/l

Resorts & Campsites: Although no campsites are provided, wilderness camping is permitted. A car top boat launch is available.

Fishing Report: The best fishing for the abundant cutthroat trout is during April-June and September-October.

Nearby Lakes

Beavertail and Gooseneck Lakes - Nearby Beavertail and Gooseneck Lakes provide excellent fishing for cutthroat and rainbow trout, which are stocked regularly. Dolly Varden and kokanee are resident.

Drum Lake - Drum Lake is stocked with cutthroat and rainbow trout and provides excellent fishing in the spring and fall months.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
