Apex
Mountain Ski Resort, near Penticton in the South Okanagan is a
great place to enjoy a family mountain vacation. Rated "Best
Small Destination Resort" by Ski Canada Magazine, it's located
at the base of a spectacular mountain, with excellent dry powder.
The slopes are not crowded and the lift lines are short with ample
skiing and boarding area. During the summer months go mountain
biking, hiking, and horseback riding into alpine country. There
are excellent on- mountain accommodations. Facilities include
meeting rooms and conference centre, restaurants, fine dining
and pubs, outdoor hot tubs, rental and repairs, and shops. There
is night skiing, and an outdoor hockey/skating rink. The Snow
Sport and Adventure Centre features the Ski and Snowboard School,
a Kid's Club and a reservation centre for all resort activities.

Big
White
Ski Resort:
This
year round resort is located approx. 54k (33.5m)) from Kelowna
in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Big White's light
champagne power attracts skiers and snowboarders from all parts
of North America. This alpine village offers hotels, condos, chalets
and hostels with a total capacity of more than 8,000. All accommodations
have convenient access to the runs, ski to/ ski from the skiing
area. On mountain facilities include ski shops and rentals, repair
shops, a ski school, spas including hot tub/jacuzzi/sauna, day
care an indoor swimming pool, grocery and liquor stores, conference
centre, restaurants, lounges and pubs. Another great feature is
the Mega-SnowCoaster, the largest mountain tube ride in North

The mountain is located 15 minutes (14 km or 9 miles) from downtown
Westbank or 25 minutes (28 km or 17 miles from Kelowna.

is in the Okanagan Similkameen Region of B.C. Baldy offers snowboarding,
cross country trails, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop/rentals

Mountain Resort:
One of BC's most popular ski areas, Silver Star Mountain Resort,
is located 22km (14m) from Vernon in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
This four-season adventure destination offers excellent down hill
and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and night skiing, snowmobiling,
snowshoeing, dog sledding and sleight rides. Great dry powder
and incredible terrain only add to the skiing and snowmobiling
fun. Summer means mountain biking, hiking, guided alpine tours,
and festivals. There are 8 hotels and more than 100 vacation homes
available on the mountain. The Village has numerous food and beverage
